LHSS Parents

When you as a parent choose Lutheran South for your child, you come to us with high expectations. You place your child in our care for four very important years, entrusting us with the responsibility of nurturing a Christian heart and building a strong mind.

We pledge to work as a partner with you, your child, and your congregation to help your young Christian teen grow into the person God wants him/her to be. In the spirit of that partnership, we encourage you to make use of the many means of communication we provide for you. We also encourage you to make the communication a two-way street; we want to hear from you when there’s a problem and we also want to hear when there is success. As always, we dedicate everything we do to God’s glory.

We ask for your prayers for our ministry here at Lutheran South as we also include your child and your family in our prayers. We encourage our students to share prayer concerns that they have, especially in their small groups.

We also encourage you to be an active, visible part of the Lancer family. You are welcomed and encouraged to attend athletic events, concerts, plays, and other special activities hosted by Lutheran South. You are welcome to attend chapel on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. You are also encouraged to be a part of the Parent’s Club, Boosters’ Club, or Mothers’ Club.
