We know that Christian education is not an inexpensive choice. We work hard to provide as much tuition aid as possible for qualifying families that are committed to that choice. An endowment fund of some $6.3 million ensures that our Lutheran High School Association will be able to assist our families who qualify.
In order to apply for and receive a tuition assistance award at Lutheran South, A new student must have an application on file for the following school year along with the $100 application fee. An additional $150 registration fee is due on acceptance. (Returning students must have paid the $250 registration fee.)
Application forms for tuition assistance are available beginning in conjunction with Freshman Registration after Thanksgiving. After this time, the forms are available for incoming and returning students in the main office. The initial deadline for applying for tuition assistance is March 1; meeting this deadline provides you with the best chance of receiving assistance if you qualify. The first award letters go out April 1. An appeals process is in place should the amount awarded to you not meet your expected needs.
