Grow in Faith . . .
There’s a place for you in our Lancer family. Your high school years will be filled with opportunities to learn more about who you are and the person God created you to become. You’ll find friends to share in your life, teachers to support you, and a family that cares about you because we’re centered in Christ’s love.
- Daily worship in chapel and KAIROS small groups
- A family atmosphere with friends, teachers and staff to encourage and support you
- Students following Christ's example of service through "Saved to Serve" hours and in "Faith in Action" activities.
Learn for Excellence . . .
At Lutheran South, we blend a strong college prep curriculum with opportunities for service, co-curricular, and athletic activities to help you mature and grow as a young Christian. With a student body of 540 young men and women, we're large enough to provide many different opportunities for you to explore, yet small enough for you to find your niche. Together with your church and your family, we help you grow in your faith, develop your strengths, and meet the challenge of new opportunities.

Lead with Integrity . . .
At LHSS, you can succeed. We help you set goals, personal and academic, that will help prepare you for college and for life. Every year, our students earn National Merit recognition, compete at the State level in academic, athletic, and music competitions, and are accepted at highly selective colleges. They earn college credit through 1-8-1-8 dual enrollment and Advanced Placement courses. They learn to think, solve problems, discuss, and write in ways they never dreamed of. They serve others, both at school and in the community. And, of course, they grow in their faith and in their ability to share and express their beliefs.

Graduate Prepared
You want to go to college. You have goals and dreams. Maybe you’re not quite sure what those goals and dreams are yet — that’s OK. At Lutheran South, we take an active role in who you become. We pray with you and for you. We encourage you to be your best by taking the tough courses, working through personal hurts and triumphs, and by setting goals for yourself and then meeting them. Not every student can be a valedictorian or a star athlete, but all students can use their gifts and talents to give glory to God and to give witness to their faith. In short, each person can change the world for the future.
- Each year, over 98% of our graduates continue their education at a college or university.
- Our graduates become leaders in their communities, their churches, and their homes.
- Our graduates have built friendships that last a lifetime.
