The Admissions Process begins in the fall of the 8th Grade year.    

Application Packets Mailed 

 If you're on our mailing list, you'll receive your application materials sometime during the first two weeks of November.  Not on the list?  Email the student's name, parent(s) name(s), address, phone humber, birthdate, current school, and phone number to Mrs. Jayne Lauer at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Resource Center Services

If the student is a candidate for Resource Center services, parents should contact Mrs. Debbie Davis as early as possible during the 8^th grade year.  The number of students accepted to this program is limited to approximately 10% of each incoming class.  Additional materials are required for acceptance.  Contact Mrs.Davis at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Registration Night

It's time to be a Lancer!  Bring your application materials and your questions to Registration Night on Thursday, December 2, at 7 p.m. at LHSS.  We'll have staff members, students, and parents on hand to welcome you to the beginning of your transition to high school.   For application requirements, click here:  Admission Requirements

Tuition Assistance Application Materials:

If your family is in need of tuition assistance to make the choice of Lutheran South a reality, please complete the need based application online at www.factstuitionaid.com or request a paper application form available December 1 at LHSS.  The PRIORITY DEADLINE IS MARCH 1.  First award letters will be mailed in early April.   

Acceptance Letters & Course Selections

Acceptance letters will be mailed beginning February 1, 2011.  Information will be shared in the acceptance letter about the $150 registration fee and course selection meetings. 

Class Information Newsletters

Information about transitional events will be given to applied and accepted students in Class of 2015 Newsletters mailed to homes and posted on the LHSS website beginning in March 2011.
