Four Lutheran High School South students have been named 2011 National Merit Scholars.
Seniors Grace Bishop, Kyle Moellenhoff, and Jessica Reed have been named Semifinalists in the 2011 National Merit Scholarship Program for their performances on the PSAT/NMSQT assessment which they took last October as juniors. Their scores were in the top 1% of the more than 1,000,000 students nationwide who took the test. They will continue in the competition for the very prestigious National Merit Scholarships to be announced later this year.
Senior Garrison Brazeal is a Commended Student in the 2011 National Merit Scholarship Program which places his score in the top 3 percent of all students taking the PSAT.
