A St. Louis High School:
Welcome to Lutheran High School South, home of the Lancers! Lutheran South is a co-educational, private, Christian school serving over 540 students in grades 9 through 12 who live in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and the surrounding areas. While about 85% of our students come from area Lutheran congregations, we welcome the diversity brought by students from other Christian denominations.
A Christ-Centered Education:
At Lutheran South, we recognize that each student is a unique creation of God, blessed with gifts and talents waiting to be nurtured and used to His glory. Our Christ-centered environment and challenging college prep curriculum help each student learn, grow, and prepare for college and also prepare for a life anchored in faith in Christ and dedicated to service in His name.
Our courses are taught from a Lutheran Christian perspective, with our faculty members serving not only as teachers, but also as coaches, sponsors, mentors, encouragers, and friends to our students.
A Well Rounded Education:
We're large enough to offer a full complement of co-curricular activities, but we're also small enough for each student to find a niche. Many of our students balance excellence in academics with active roles in athletics, clubs, student government, music, drama and other co-curricular activities.
At Lutheran South, as we strive to encourage each student to grow in faith, learn for excellence, and lead with integrity. We dedicate everything we do to God's glory. We invite you be a part of the Lancer family -- as a student, volunteer, parent, donor, or friend.
At Lutheran South it's not just about what you learn or what you do . . . it's about who you become.
Policy of Non-Discrimination: Lutheran South does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, color, national or ethnic origin, or religion in considering applicants for admission.
